D3 Protocol User Guides: The Calculator
The D3 Protocol also has a calculator that enables you to run different scenarios to calculate potential returns over a period of time, based on the amount of DEFI you currently hold, the current APY, your DEFI purchase price, and your forecast future DEFI market price. This will give you an estimate of the potential future value of your DEFI.
Please note it is just for indicative purposes as an educational tool to help guide your decision making. The calculator can be viewed on the D3 Protocol dashboard which is accessed via the D3 Protocol website at www.d3protocol.io. Calculator parameters are listed below.
- Current DEFI price: simply gives you the current live price of DEFI
- Current reward yield: tells you the current APY for stakers
- Your balance: shows your current sDEFI (staked DEFI) balance
- sDEFI amount: input any amount of sDEFI you wish for your calculations
- Reward yield: input differing APY amounts to test different scenarios
- DEFI purchase price: enter the price that you purchased (or wish to purchase at)
- Future DEFI market price: enter your target price for DEFI in the future
- Day slider: select the number of days over which you wish to forecast
- Your initial investment: calculation of your initial investment in USD
- Current value: current value of your investment in USD
- DEFI rewards estimate: estimation of your future DEFI rewards for selected period
- Potential future value: potential future value of your position at the end of the period
